I'm wanting to build an addition and/or new structure on my property? Do I need HOA approval? What is the process?

Yes, HOA approval is required for all exterior changes to existing structures, additions to existing structures, and/or building of a new structure on your property.

Phase 1:

The Architectural Review form needs to be filled out and submitted to the HOA, along with a check for $100, made out to September Lakes HOA.

A third party will review the plans to verify they conform to building requirements as outlined in the Covenants. You will receive notice if approved or if changes must be made to conform to building requirements.

Phase 2:

Once the structure is bricked and under roof, a second check of $100, made out to September Lakes HOA, must be submitted, and a physical inspection of the property will be performed to ensure construction is following building plans as submitted.
